Individual User Mail Lists

Send an Specific Email to a Group of Addressees Address Books are dynamically maintained by the user for individual E-mail addresses.  This feature includes the ability to capture the E-mail addresses from any where within an E-mail and export it into the address book.

E-mail To: Address line -- can contain several names

E-mail Cc: Address line -- can contain several names

E-mail Bcc: Address line -- can contain several names

Dynamic Group Addresses

The address book can also be used to create a multi-person E-mail address.  The group name can be the addressee.  The address can be the reference names from earlier entries in the address book.  When a message is sent to a group, the iWayMail software expands to include all E-mail  addresses in the group and sends the same E-mail message to each of the members.

 District Mailing Lists

Group Mailing Lists A variety of lists can be created at the District level and used to E-mail to the various groups within the organization:
  • Department Lists
  • Class Lists
  • District Committees

These lists can be used in a variety of ways to improve communication.  Typically a faculty member can remind a whole class of an assignment with a single message.  Minutes of committee meetings can be efficiently distributed as iWayMail attachments to everyone at the same time.  And people both on the District E-mail server and with other mail server addresses can be included (ex. parents).

District Mailing Lists

The District mailing lists are created by the Mail Administrator as needed.  The name of the list is shared, usually when the administrator mail out the welcome message.  After that, anyone can address all the members of the list by sending a message to that group
